Cresswell: West Ham more organised under Moyes
West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell says he and his side feel much more organised when they go into every game following the arrival of David Moyes, according to the Evening Standard.
Moyes was appointed as first-team boss in November following the sacking of Slaven Bilic and has turned things around well since coming in.
West Ham are currently placed 12th in the Premier League and have been working much harder since the Scot’s arrival at the club.
Since Moyes’ arrival at the club, West Ham’s squad has been worked harder and the players have reaped the rewards for their renewed lease of life.
They still face a fight to stay in the Premier League but are in a much better position than when Moyes joined the club last year.
Cresswell spoke about the situation.
We feel we’re prepared for every game. That was the manager’s thing from day one, that if you don’t work hard and put your effort in for the team, your teammates, the manager, the staff and everyone here, it’s clear you wouldn’t play.
I think he set his stall out well and everyone understands what their role is and what the job is and you could arguably say we’re a lot more organised going into a game.
He continued and went on to add.
The performance analysts work tirelessly to make sure we’re well-prepared and well-organised for every game.
