Fyodor Smolov open to West Ham move
FC Krasnodar striker Fyodor Smolov is keen to join West Ham this month, according to Sky Sports.
The Russian international is being targeted by the Hammers this month as they look to bolster their attacking ranks. Smolov has been in good form for Krasnodar in the last 18 months and it seems he feels he’s ready to take the next step.
West Ham are planning to do some business in the January transfer window and it seems there could be something of a reshuffle in the striking department.
Javier Hernandez is reportedly up for sale despite the Mexican having signed for West Ham only in the summer. Diafra Sakho remains open to an exit from the London Stadium, while Andy Carroll is also being linked with a move away from the club.
The Hammers are reportedly ready to bid £15m for Smolov, which could be enough to convince Krasnodar to sell their star striker, if Sky Sports are to be believed.
