West Ham said to be targeting Danny Ings
West Ham are reportedly considering a loan swoop for Liverpool striker Danny Ings in the January transfer window.
According to a report from Darren Lewis of the Mirror, the Hammers could be set to move for the forward, as he continues to be left out by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
Ings is yet to make a Premier League appearance this season but has been keeping himself fit, featuring for Liverpool in their Under-23 side on numerous occasions so far this term.
The ex-Burnley striker has been desperately unfortunate in the last couple of years. Ings has suffered several setbacks in his bid to recover from a long-term knee injury but appears to have regained his fitness.
West Ham are short of firepower at the moment despite Javier Hernandez returning to fitness. Andy Carroll’s fitness, also, is unreliable and Diafra Sakho remains keen to leave.
Crystal Palace are keen to sign Ings, too, according to the Mirror.
