West Ham reportedly want to sign Daniel Opare from Augsburg.
The right-back has been in good form for the Bundesliga outfit this season and has attracted interest from clubs across Europe.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, three Premier League clubs are keen to land the defender and West Ham are among those interested in securing Opare.
The 27-year-old is likely to leave Augsburg in the January transfer window, with the German club aiming to raise funds. Opare could be available for a fee as low as £3 million.
Opare’s deal at Augsburg expires at the end of the season, meaning that if he chooses not to renew, he is to leave the club as a free agent in the summer.
However, as aforementioned, if West Ham are to land Oprare, they will need to fend off competition. The report states that the Hammers are joined by Everton and Swansea in their interest.
