West Ham eye move for Harry Arter
Bournemouth’s Harry Arter has emerged as a possible January transfer target for West Ham, according to a report from Darren Lewis of The Mirror.
It is understood that David Moyes is keen to improve the Hammers’ midfield and that he might even cash in on Marko Arnautovic in order to raise extra funds.
The 27-year-old After has impressed for the Cherries since their promotion to the Premier League and he is also a regular in the Irish national side.
West Ham have been keen to improve their midfield for a while and there is a chance that they could re-visit a move for Sporting Lisbon’s William Carvalho, although it’s doubtful that the Portuguese side would be willing to let him leave.
In truth, Bournemouth will not be keen to let After leave in January either as they look to secure their place in the top flight for another season so if the Hammers do want him, they’d have to pay a premium.
