Bilic plays down Hernandez rumours
Slaven Bilic has confirmed in his press conference this week that summer signing Javier Hernandez is 100% happy at the Hammers, amid reports he was becoming frustrated in London, football.london report.
The striker was substituted after 79 minutes for in West Ham’s last game against Swansea for Diafra Sacko, who eventually scored the winning goal, with Hernandez appearing to be frustrated with Bilic’s decision to replace him with 10 minutes remaining.
However, the Mexican international, who scored in his national sides 3-1 victory over Trinidad and Tobago last week, denied rumours he was unhappy playing in London.
Talking to the media before the game away to Burnley on Saturday, the West Ham manager was questioned about the Mexican and his future at the club.
Exactly, he said it’s completely out of nowhere, not one percent of truth in it. That’s what we know anyway and I expected and somebody made it up.
Hernandez, 29, has found the back of the net three times this season after joining from Bayern Leverkusen for a fee of £16 million in the summer.
