West Ham linked with Steven Bergwijn
West Ham are being linked with a move for PSV winger Steven Bergwijn.
The Mirror reports that the Hammers are among a trio of Premier League clubs chasing the PSV man’s signature following a positive start to the season out in Holland.
Bergwijn is a key player for PSV and has established himself as one of the club’s most promising players, so he won’t come cheaply if he is to be lured away from Eindhoven.
The youngster has represented Netherlands at most youth levels, and is an established international for his country’s Under-21 side.
Bergwijn, who is just 19-years of age, has been catching the eye this season and is looking set for big things, prompting the inevitable interest from clubs across Europe.
However, if West Ham are to make a serious move for the tricky, versatile winger, they will need to fend off competition. The report claims that both Bournemouth and Tottenham want to sign Bergwijn.
