Inter Milan reportedly keen on Andre Ayew
Inter Milan are reportedly plotting a January move for West Ham forward Andre Ayew.
According to reports in Italy, as covered by Football London, the Serie A giants are looking to bolster their attacking options when the transfer window opens, and have identified Ayew as the perfect man to push them forward.
The versatile attacker has netted just once this season, with his goal coming in West Ham’s first win of the Premier League season against Huddersfield.
Inter boss Luciano Spalletti is a known admirer of the Ghana international. He reportedly tried to lure the forward to Roma on several occasions during his stint in charge of the club, but failed as Ayew remained in the Premier League.
However, with the 27-year-old finding it tricky to string together a sufficient run of games at West Ham given the plethora of attacking options at Slaven Bilic’s disposal, a mid-season switch to Inter could be a tempting proposition.
