West Ham are considering Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as a replacement for Slaven Bilic.
According to The Express, West Ham are preparing for life without Bilic and have identified Sarri as the man they want to replace him.
Bilic is looking like a man on the boardwalk as he trudges through a host of on and off-field problems.
The Croatian’s relationship with the chairmen seems strained, following comments made in his press conference this week.
David Sullivan released a statement claiming that Bilic rejected the chance to sign either Renato Sanches or Grezgorz Krychowiak on deadline day.
Bilic then rubbished these claims, with it appearing as though his chairman threw him under the bus to appease the fans.
The West Ham boss also said he laughed at comments from Sporting Lisbon’s Director – as he called David Gold and David Sullivan the ‘Dildo Brothers’.
Sarri has a £7.5m release clause in his Napoli contract, which the report claims West Ham can afford.
