Barcelona linked with shock move for Manuel Lanzini
Manuel Lanzini has successfully stepped out of Dimitri Payet’s shadow at West Ham to become the club’s central creator in attack.
Rewarded with his first Argentina cap earlier this year and poised to sign a new long-term contract at the club, Lanzini stock continues to rise and he’s attracted the interest of one of the world’s biggest clubs.
After failing to sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool or Borussia Dortmund’s Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona have turned their attentions to PSG star Angel Di Maria and Lanzini, and have serious interest in signing the pair.

Lanzini scored eight goals for the Hammers last season and has also been touted as a replacement for Coutinho at Anfield, but the Hammers have been very firm on their stance that he’s not for sale at any price.
Lionel Messi is good friends with both Di Maria and Lanzini and he could be the driving force behind the club’s moves for the pair. but West Ham have no interest in letting him leave.
