West Ham manager Slaven Bilic says that Manuel Lanzini is happy at West Ham, amid speculation over his future.
He has been touted as a possible replacement for Phillipe Coutinho at Liverpool.
Coutinho handed a transfer request in at Liverpool on Friday and has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
Although he has been linked with a move away, Bilic insists that Lanzini is happy at the club.
Speaking to The Mirror, Bilic said this:
He is one of our key players, a great lad and he knows his situation.
I know for sure that he is happy here.
Despite it being reported that he was set to sign a new deal last month, Lanzini is yet to put pen to paper on his new contract.
The club are very keen to tie down Lanzini to an extended contract and expect it to go through this summer.
West Ham have offered the midfielder a £85k-per-week contract.
West Ham announced last month that Pedro Obiang signed a new five-year contract with the club, following on from Angelo Ogbonna’s new deal.
