Sofiane Feghouli’s move from West Ham to Galatasaray has been delayed, despite a deal between the two clubs and personal terms being agreed, according to Fanatik, as cited on Sport Witness,
It was reported earlier this week that Feghouli was set to travel to Turkey for a medical prior to his move to Galatasaray, however, no medical happened and Feghouli is yet to travel.
The reason why the deal hasn’t happened yet is due to paperwork, even though deals between all parties have been agreed but Galatasaray are not expecting any more problems with the transfer, with their manager hoping to have him in the squad for their season opener on Monday.
Feghouli wants to leave West Ham in pursuit of first-team football, which is hard to come by at the London Stadium with Michail Antonio, Andre Ayew and new signing Marko Arnautovic ahead of him in the pecking order.
The fee for Feghouli is reported to be around €4.5 million, which would be profit for West Ham as they brought him in on a free transfer from Valencia last season.
