Crystal Palace in talks to sign Adrian for £3m
According to the Mail Online, Crystal Palace are looking to sign West Ham goalkeeper Adrian after losing out on Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen.
After West Ham’s recent loan signing of Joe Hart, Adrian is expected to get less first team football than usual and he may want to look for a move away from the London Stadium.
New Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer is in the market for a new goalkeeper after the sale of Steve Mandanda back to Marseille and after missing out on Cillessen they are reportedly going for Adrian.
However, West Ham may not want to sell Adrian, after another goalkeeper in Darren Randolph left for Middlesbrough at the weekend for £5m which means they will only have recent arrival Hart and youth goalkeeper Nathan Trott.
Adrian joined The Hammers in 2013 for a free transfer from Real Betis and has made 123 appearances since, conceding 176 goals and keeping 33 clean sheets.
The Spaniard has more reason to want to leave as well, with the 2018 World Cup in Russia just being around the corner, he would want first team football to try and get a call up for this next tournament with Spain. Palace are believed to be in talks with the Hammers over a £3m deal.
