Everton rivaling West Ham for Badou N’Diaye
West Ham are expected to make their fourth signing of the summer this week when Javier Hernandez completes his £16m move from Bayer Leverkusen, but the Hammers are still looking to reinforce the squad with fresh faces.
One player that Slaven Bilic and co. are believed to be looking at is Osmanlispor midfielder Badou N’Diaye. The Hammers are understood to have entered negotiations with the Turkish side for the £8.5m-rated Senegal international.
However, West Ham do face competition for the 26-year-old’s signature, with the London Evening Standard noting that Premier League rivals Everton are also looking to sign the player.
The central midfielder scored seven goals and provided three assists for his teammates last season and has a rather prolific goalscoring record for a midfield throughout his career in Norwegian and Turkish football.
Everton have been one of the Premier League’s biggest spenders this summer and are keen on making N’Diaye their next acquisition but the Hammers, who have been chasing him for several months, are believed to be leading the race at this stage,
