It’s finally arrived. West Ham embark on their first leg of their pre-season preparations as they take on Sturm Graz II tonight in Austria.

The first-team squad have spent the last week or so training in Austria as they work on their fitness, with tonight’s game the first of a several match schedule.

As expected, the Hammers are carrying some injuries and a handful of first-team stars won’t feature.

Both Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho, who struggled mightily last season with groin and back injuries respectively, will miss out this evening.

Michail Antonio who had summer hamstring surgery is also out, and Winston Reid will not be involved due to a knee injury.

Seven members of the academy set up have also travelled with the squad and may feature this evening in some capacity.

Here is our predicted XI for West Ham tonight.
