Joe Hart has passed his West Ham medical and is set to become the club’s second signing of the summer transfer window.

The Manchester City stopper is expected to join on an initial season-long with a view to a permanent transfer. The deal should be completed today.

West Ham swapped between Adrian and Darren Randolph last season but bringing in Hart gives them a dependable and experienced option between the sticks.

Pep Guardiola is content to move on the England international having brought in Claudio Bravo from Barcelona and Ederson from Benfica in the last two transfer windows.

Hart had an up and down campaign on loan at Serie A side Torino last season but a fresh start back in the Premier League should do the former Birmingham loanee good.
