Cheltenham Town are on the brink of signing West Ham right-back Kyle Knoyle on a free transfer, according to a report on Gloucestershire Live.
Knoyle is a graduate of the West Ham youth Academy and progressed through the ranks for five years before successfully earning his first professional contract at the club in the summer of 2015.
The youngster failed to make an impression at the Hammers and was released at the end of last season and Cheltenham are confident that they can secure his services.
The 20-year-old full-back will be looking to kick-start his career after failing at West Ham and will be looking to make a name for himself at Cheltenham.
The youngster has represented England at under 18 level so it shows that the player has a lot of potential to become a quality player in the future.
Knoyle has also spent a short loan spell with League Two champions Portsmouth in May last season.
