West Ham linked with move for Chris Wood
West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Leeds United striker Chris Wood.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Hammers are one of three Premier League teams keen on adding the New Zealand international to their squad ahead of the coming season, and they may look to make a summer move for him.
Wood has been in superb form for Leeds this season under Garry Monk and is attracting a lot of interest, having enjoyed a highly impressive campaign in the Championship.
The powerful centre forward has just two years remaining on his current deal at Elland Road and he’ll surely be looking to challenge himself in the top flight in the near future given his success with Leeds this season.
Southampton and Stoke are also claimed to have shown an interest in Wood, who is reportedly valued at a fairly sizable £15 million.
Wood notched a quite staggering 30 goals for Leeds this season in all competitions.
