West Ham, along with Newcastle and Southampton, have expressed an interest in Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney, according to a report from the Northern Echo.
Cairney has emerged as one of the best midfielders in the Championship and has subsequently attracted a lot of interest from some top flight clubs, with the Hammers the latest to be linked.
Although Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic hopes to keep his team in tact over the summer, there is a good chance that he could lose the Scottish star, as well as full-back Ryan Sessegnon, who is expected to join Liverpool
From the middle of the park, the 26-year-old notched an impressive 12 goals throughout the course of the season, and also chipped in with a total of 11 assists.
Back in January, Fulham put a £20million asking price on Cairney to scare off Newcastle. With at least three teams interested in him, they’ll be hopeful of getting a feee close to that amount if they do decide to let him go.
