West Ham and Liverpool battle to sign £12m-rated striker
West Ham have reportedly joined Liverpool and a host of other clubs in the race to sign Dynamo Kiev striker Lukasz Teodorczyk.
The 25-year-old is currently on loan in Belgium with Anderlecht but West Ham are apparently keen to secure a permanent deal with Kiev, one that would see the player make an immediate switch to London.
The Polish international has been in excellent form this season, scoring 19 goals in 22 combined domestic and European games.
He’s been in consistent goalscoring form in the league especially. He has 12 goals in 15 games, and only two of those were scored in the same game, meaning he’s found the net in 11 separate league games already.
Anderlecht are, as expected, trying to make Teodorczyk’s transfer permanent but scouts from across Europe have been alerted to his talents and it’s expected that Kiev will be receiving bids from other interested parties in January.
West Ham’s striker issues are well documented so it is little surprise to see them being linked with January moves for forward players.
Liverpool have lost Danny Ings to injury and as such, Jurgen Klopp is expected to bring in a forward too.
