West Ham are believed to be considering cancelling attacker Gokhan Tore’s loan spell from Besiktas in January, according to Turkish source Fanatik.
The former Chelsea starlet made his name at Besiktas under Slaven Bilic who tried to make him one of his first signings at the club last summer before Besiktas ruled out the move.
One year on, Bilic tried again and had to settled for a £2m season-long loan for the Turkish winger with an option to buy for £10m but things haven’t panned out for Tore.

The 24-year-old has been largely disappointing in his seven West Ham appearances thus far, and bar a late cross which was put away by Michail Antonio against Bournemouth, has offered very little in attack.

An unused sub against West Brom and not even making the matchday 18 against Southampton last week suggests Tore has fallen right down the pecking order and with the likes of Andre Ayew, Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho edging closer to first-team returns, it’s hard to see where Tore fits in.
If Tore fails to nail down a first-team place soon, West Ham cannot afford to carry passengers going forward and it would be best to send Tore back to Besiktas.
