West Brom pull out of Diafra Sakho deal

West Brom have pulled out of a deal to sign West Ham striker Diafra Sakho this summer.

According to John Percy of the Telegraph, the move is now OFF and will not go ahead.

West Brom had agreed a £16m deal with the Hammers for the Senegal international, with £10m up front and a further £6m in clauses.

Sakho was set for a medical but posted onSsnapchat yesterday stating that those reports might be wide of the mark.

Birmingham Mail’s Paul Suart has also confirmed that West Brom have pulled out of a deal this afternoon.

Express and Star reported Matt Maher confirms that Sakho agreed personal terms to the move and the club were waiting on final scans before completing the deal.

They have decided not to go ahead with the deal, maybe because of what they’ve seen on the scans.

Sakho struggled mightily with muscular injuries in the last two years which might have been flagged up in the medical.
