According to French source Le10 Sport, West Ham are offering Real Madrid €17m plus bonuses to sign striker Jese Rodriguez this summer.
The 23-year-old forward will be allowed to leave the Bernabeu this summer after Zinedine Zidane stated that he needs to be playing regular football to reach his potential.
MORE: Why West Ham need to sign Jese Rodriguez this summer

“[With Jese] It’s a difficult situation. Having a big squad causes problems, but it’s what you get as Coach of Madrid. I’m not against the idea of the kids leaving. A lot of them leave and return, like Morata, Lucas and Carvajal. Why couldn’t others go?” Zidane asked.
“In any case, the squad has depth and I’m happy because they’ll all be needed with a lot of games to come. Jese is in the squad and it’s true that last year he didn’t play a lot. I’m the Madrid Coach and I want him because I really like him, but if I was his family I’d tell him to look for more minutes. But I’m the Coach, and maybe he can get them here. We’ll see. But I’m happy with him because I know his quality.”

PSG held talks with Real Madrid during their International Champions Cup clash but failed to come to an agreement too sign the Spaniard but Unai Emery is eager to sign Jese this summer.
The Hammers are ready to offer €17m (£14.4m) up front for Jese plus bonuses to sign him this summer, while Southampton are also keeping tabs on the situation.
Real Madrid are believed to be looking for nearer €20m for Jese’s sale, and any deal will have to include a £16.8m buy-back clause in the future – similar to deals which saw Alvaro Morata and Dani Carvajal leave the Bernabeu in recent seasons only to be bought back for larger fees.
