Mauricio Isla linked with West Ham move
West Ham are being linked with a move for Juventus defender Mauricio Isla, who is also a target for Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Cagliari and Watford.
According to Italian source Tuttosport (via the Essex Chronicle), West Ham have made an enquiry into the availability of the right-back given their lack of recognised full-backs in the squad.
Bayer Leverkusen, Cagliari and Watford are all keen on the Chile international as well, say Tuttosport, while Bayern Munich are also monitoring the situation.
Following the arrival of former Barcelona star Dani Alves in Turin, Isla is almost certainly set to leave Juventus this summer, with a deal likely to be completed before the window slams shut.
The 28-year-old has Premier League experience with Queens Park Rangers having spent the 2014/15 season on loan with Rangers as they were relegated back to the Championship.
Isla spent last season on loan with Marseille but failed to impress enough to secure a permanent move.
West Ham are currently employing Michail Antonio as a make-shift right-back due to the lack of options they have and Isla would be a solid addition on a temporary or permanent basis.
