According to the front page of Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, West Ham target Carlos Bacca has emerged as a surprise option for Catalan giants Barcelona.

It’s been well documented that The Hammers are more than keen to bring Bacca to the club this summer but it’s become somewhat a transfer saga due to a definitive conclusion on the Colombian’s forward still yet to have been reached.
There has been plenty of competition for Bacca, also, with Napoli the latest to make a fresh bid for the AC Milan forward.
However, West Ham have reportedly agreed a fee with Milan for Bacca’s services at a whopping €30 million, Sport Witness can report off the basis of Mundo Deportivo’s publication.
It now comes down to whether or not Bacca does want to join West Ham; he’s been weighing up his options for some time, now.
Of course, Barcelona will be an attractive proposition for the prolific 29-year-old striker but, given the wealth of attacking options at their disposal, it’s hard to see where Bacca would fit in as a regular.
The Colombia star is keen to move to a Champions League club but could West Ham persuade him to think otherwise?
