West Ham make Ginter offer
According to the printed edition of Sport Bild, West Ham have made an offer for Dortmund defender Mathias Ginter.
It isn’t stated whether it is an offer to Dortmund or to the player, but it is assumed that the offer is to
It is also thought that Wolfsburg, Arsenal and Tottenham have also made offers for the defender, which means that West Ham face fierce competition for his signature.
The 22-year-old defender is thought to be valued at around £12m, which is what West Ham are going to have to offer in order to land their man.
Ginter is out-of-favour at Dortmund, having made under 40 first-team appearances in two years at the Bundesliga club, even dropping down to the ‘B’ team at times due to his lack of playing time.
The young star has been left out of Dortmund’s pre-season tour squad due to an ‘illness’ which has in turn raised a lot of eyebrows that he could be on the verge of sealing a move.
West Ham are looking for defensive reinforcements this summer, with Ginter seemingly a big target for Slaven Bilic’s side.
