Enner Valencia today has asked for West Ham to sanction his sale to Serie A side Lazio, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
West Ham are more than willing to let Enner Valencia leave the club this summer, if anything, they want it to happen sooner rather than later so they can progress with replacing him in the squad.
However, they’re yet to receive an offer to their liking. Serie A side Lazio have made several offers for Valencia this summer, none of which have been accepted.

Lazio were hoping to sign Valencia on a season-long loan with a mandatory purchase option next summer, bringing the total deal to around £13m but the Hammers declined, wanting a permanent sale this summer.
West Ham want to recoup as much of the £12m they paid for the 26-year-old Ecuadorian international who has scored just 10 goals in 61 appearances in two seasons at the club.
The Serie A club returned with a £10m offer to buy Valencia this summer but again, West Ham declined, standing firm on their asking price.
Now, Valencia hopes that by handing in a transfer request his move to Lazio will be forced through in the coming days.
