Gokhan Tore to be unveiled as a West Ham player tomorrow
Gökhan Töre will officially become a West Ham player tomorrow, according to Turkish journalist Emre Sarigul.
The report states that the hold up in Töre’s transfer is due to the Muslim festival of Eid, which means all Turkish business are on Holiday. It ends on Monday, meaning that Besiktas can complete the required paperwork to make the transfer official. Töre will join West Ham on a season-long loan, with an option to buy the player upon the loan’s expiry.
It is understood that he is able to play in the Premier League without the need for a work permit, due to the fact that he was on the books of Chelsea as a youngster, and that he was raised in a fellow EU nation of Germany. Last season, Töre featured 35 times for Besiktas, and scored six goals. He assisted nine for his teammates.
West Ham will kick-off their Premier League campaign away to London rivals Chelsea on August 15th.
