West Ham have been alerted as Josa Sosa has failed to report to the last two Besiktas training sessions as he looks to force through a move.
The Hammers are already on the brink of signing one Besiktas winger, with Turkish international Gokhan Tore poised to join the club on an initial season-long loan deal for a fee of £3m, which could be made permanent next summer for a reported £10m.
The Argentine winger was linked with a move to West Ham in mid-June but cooled their interest in Sosa as they progressed with a deal for Tore.
According to Turkish source Ajansspor, there is also interest from China in Sosa, but the Argentine’s most likely destination is in Europe.
Besiktas have informed all interested parties that they are looking for €5m to part ways with the winger who scored seven goals and contributed 12 assists as Besiktas cruised to another Super Lig crown.

The 31-year-old however has been allowed to seek a transfer from the Turkish champions should he wish, with the low asking price and impressive production catching the eye of several clubs.
The former Atletico Madrid man has found a home in Turkey after several nomadic years with Metalist Kharkiv, Napoli and Bayern Munich previously. He worked with Slaven Bilic two years ago at Besiktas and is said to be interested in a reunion.
According to Sporx, Sosa is upset about the club trying to force through a move to Milan, with the attacker set on a return to Argentina with his former club Estudiantes.
