Carlos Bacca has turned down the advances of Paris Saint-Germain in order to complete a move to West Ham, according to French source Sports.fr.
It’s believed the Hammers have triggered Bacca’s £25.7m release clause this past week, and are due to meet with the player and his representatives early next week to discuss personal terms.
The Colombia international striker is reported to be seeking similar pay to that of Dimitri Payet who is West Ham’s highest earner at £120,000-a-week in order to join the club.

West Ham have come in with a lower offer of around £65,000-a-week but will increase that offer if required and hope to find a middle ground with Bacca and his agents.
The 29-year-old netted 20 goals in 42 appearances with AC Milan last season following his £22.8m move from Sevilla, where he scored 34 goals in 72 games over two seasons. Bacca has a proven track record of scoring every other game.
The report claims that PSG were interested in Bacca, but the striker would rather go to West Ham where he can be their featured striker and play in the best league in the world, the Premier League.
