An inside look at West Ham’s new Stadium Superstore
West Ham’s brand new state-of-the-art Stadium Store at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was formally opened by Club captain Mark Noble yesterday.
The bad weather did delay proceedings as Noble’s route to the stadium was heavily water-filled, but he did eventually arrived to cut the ribbon and officially open the store. Afterwards, the 29-year-old posed for photos with eager supporters and signed autographs.
In an interview with the Club’s official website , Noble said: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much West Ham gear!
This is a whole new level for the Club and, to be fair, it looks great. The opening of the Store shows just how close we are to making the move.
“This is a massive summer for the Club and we’re all looking forward to getting in there for those first couple of games, in the Europa League and then the Betway Cup against Juventus.”
The new Stadium Store is more than two-and-a-half times larger than the store at the Boleyn Ground. It boasts over 1200 product lines, 44 till points and 12 dedicated shirt printing machines, to ensure ‘exceptional service even at the busiest of times’.
We couldn’t resist commuting to Stratford and checking it out. Here’s a selection of photos from our first visit to the new Stadium Store:
