Juventus hold talks with West Ham over Zaza
The Daily Mail has revealed Juventus held a fresh round of talks with West Ham yesterday regarding the possibility of Simone Zaza moving to East London.
Zaza is thought to be unhappy with the lack of game-time at Juventus, due to the success of Pablo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, and wants to seal a move away this summer.
Juventus are prepared to offload the 24-year-old but they will attempt to spark a bidding war before selling to the highest bidder.
Wolfsburg launched a €20million move earlier this week, but Juve have now contacted Premier League quartet West Ham, Swansea, Southampton and Everton to see if they’ll better the Bundesliga outfit’s offer.
Zaza will not make a final decision on his future until after the European Championships.
West Ham have grown frustrated at the lack of progress in their talks with Lyon over a potential move for Alexandre Lacazette, while Michy Batshuayi is still holding out for Spurs to come calling, so they could be tempted to trump Wolfsburg’s bid for Zaza.
