AC Milan rival West Ham for Immobile

West Ham and Lazio’s pursuit of Ciro Immobile takes a hit as AC Milan shows interest in the 26-year-old international striker.

Immobile is returning to Sevilla after his loan at Torino is Serie A, but is likely to leave the Europa League champions again this summer. The striker is expected to be available for around £10 million from Sevilla. The Italian has experience playing in Germany, Spain, and Italy.

Immobile appeared in eight La Liga matches, scoring two goals, before being loaned to Torino, where he scored five goals and added two assists in 14 appearances.

Immobile enjoyed his most potent season as a part of Torino in 2013/14, where he scored 22 goals in 33 appearances. That form led to a move to Bundesliga power Borussia Dortmund, but Immobile was unable to reach the 20-goal mark again.

With Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia both linked with moves away from West Ham, Slaven Bilic is looking to bolster his forward line.

West Ham are in for AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang, but face competition from Leicester City and Everton. The 21-year-old Frenchman scored five goals in 16 Serie A appearances.

The Hammers’ pursuit for Alexandre Lacazette appears to be over as Lyon want £40 million for the 25-year-old striker, turning down West Ham’s latest £32 million bid.

Also, Malaga are close to signing Barcelona striker and West Ham target Sandro.
