The battle to sign Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra is heating up as West Ham face competition from Tottenham, Stoke City and Sunderland.
The Hammers are well-known to be in the market for a midfielder or two this summer, having been linked with moves for former Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli and Besiktas star Gokhan Tore.

However, they face stiff competition from several other Premier League sides this summer for the signature of the Argentine midfielder.
According to the Chronicle, Sunderland and Stoke have both registered their interest in the 25-year-old midfielder, who can also operate in a more advanced role on the wing.
Pereyra only made 16 appearances for the Serie A champions last season following his permanent move from Juventus, and is said to be keen on a move away to secure more regular first-team football.

West Ham are hopeful of adding to their attacking midfield options ahead of the new season where they hope to embark on a prolonged Europa League campaign having allowed Victor Moses to return to Chelsea following an unsuccessful season-long loan.
But with Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini and Michail Antonio already in the building, it’ll be tough for Pereyra or anyone to come in and nail down a starting position straight away.
