West Ham have rejected several loan offers for highly-rated teenager Marcus Browne, sources tell TEAMtalk.
The 18-year-old midfielder is seen as one of the best young prospects to emerge from West Ham’s famed academy in recent years.
Browne is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Hammers but has been a regular for the under-21 side this season where he’s caught the eye of Slaven Bilic.
The club have struggled with injuries during the winter period, which has seen Browne promoted to the first-team squad and has been named to the bench in each of West Ham’s last two outings.
He, along with Djair Parfitt-Williams, another youngster held in high-regard at the club, have been included in recent matchday squads as they look to make that progression into the first-team next season.
Slaven Bilic has put an emphasis on bringing young players through where possible, epitomised by the blooding in of Reece Oxford and Reece Burke at the start of the season to give them that vital first-team experience, and both are expected to be role players in the squad next season.
