West Ham United have completed the signing of Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio, for a fee of around £7million. The 25-year-old has impressed at the various clubs he has featured for in the Football League, but now he has completed a move to Upton Park.

Antonio could well be seen as a replacement for the outgoing Stewart Downing, who departed for fellow second tier side Middlesbrough earlier in the summer. The winger already has four goals in five games this season, and it is hoped by the home faithful that he takes this form with him to the Boleyn Ground.
The Englishman won the Nottingham Forest Player of the Season Award for his performances during the 2014/15 campaign, having scored fourteen league goals from midfield since being signed by their former manager Stuart Pearce.
With the move finally being completed, the East London club will be breathing a sigh of relief, as the Hammers had a bid of £4million plus Matt Jarvis turned down last week.
