West Ham will be re-signing Alex Song on a season-long loan from Barcelona, with an option of a further year, confirms Jack Sullivan.
He underwent a medical today, which he passed, having failed one nearly a fortnight ago.
Song has signed a season long loan deal to join West Ham, with an option for 1 more year! We hope for 2/3 more signing by 5pm tomorrow

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at West Ham and divided opinion with his polarising performances throughout the campaign, but his return is well received.
The former Arsenal defensive midfielder has been unable to settle in Spain with Barcelona, and has always wanted a return to the premier league, and more specifically London.
He was also being linked to several other Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool as they saw Song as an ideal player to help fill their ‘Home Grown’ quota. The Cameroonian favoured a move to West Ham for some regular game time.
He’ll reassume his role in the heart of the West Ham midfield in an ever deepening area of the pitch for West Ham following the arrivals of Dimitri Payet and Pedro Obiang this summer as well.
