Juan Iturbe joined Roma as a highly rated prospect from FC Porto just one year ago for around £18 million and was given the iconic number seven shirt. Perfect signing, right?
Apparently not. The young Argentinian winger seems to have fallen out of favour in Rudi Garcia’s squad. Roma have brought in the likes of Iago Falque as well as Chelsea’s Mohamed Salah on loan for the upcoming season. Well, what about Iturbe? It wouldn’t make much sense for the Italians to sell the winger, but it seems as though he may not get as much playing time this season as he’d have hoped for.

Here’s where West Ham come in. The Irons may very well be the perfect outlet for Iturbe to not only get some valuable playing time but playing time in arguably the world’s most competitive league from top to bottom.
Acquiring Iturbe’s season-long services won’t exactly be a walk in the park for the Hammers, though. Roberto Martinez and Everton are also reportedly interested in signing the Argentinian on loan for the same reason.
