It is being reported on Twitter that Alex Song has arrived in London for his medical with West Ham United, and he is widely expected to sign a three-year deal with the club he spent last season with on a season long-loan.
The former Arsenal midfielder will join from treble winners FC Barcelona for an undisclosed fee and it is a signing that will excite Hammers fans, as he impressed last season for them and became a firm fan favourite relatively quickly.

The Cameroon international made 28 appearances in the Premier League for West Ham, but he didn’t score any goals. However, his general play was extremely impressive and he was no doubt one of the key players for Sam Allardyce’s side last season.
The deal has taken a long time to come to fruition, but Slaven Bilic will be delighted he has got his man after such a lengthy transfer saga that has seen him linked with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
