West Ham have been linked with a move to sign Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike.
Haberciniz claim that new West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is a fan of the Nigerian’s play having watched him closely during his time in Turkey with Besiktas, and wants to bring him to Upton Park.
The 28-year-old has 16 goals in 35 international appearances, and has been an accomplished goalscorer throughout his career, with 71 goals in 168 games since 2009.
Emenike has had some troubles in the past. After he first signed for the Yellow & Blues in 2011 for €9m from Karabukspor, he was caught up in a match fixing scandal and was offloaded for €10m that same summer to Spartak Moscow. He was later cleared of all charges due to lack of credible evidence.
He went on to score 24 goals in 51 games for Spartak Moscow in little over two seasons, where Fenerbahce came calling again, and a €13m move came in 2013.
After scoring 12 goals his first season, his form dipped in 2014/15, where he scored only five times in 35 appearances, which has led to reports suggesting he could be offloaded this summer.
Amkspor are reporting that Dynamo Moscow have seen a €5m bid rejected for Emenike, but Fenerbache will consider a sale for a fee nearer the €10m mark. West Ham are rumoured to be considering a €7m offer.
