Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero is flying to England and will arrive in London on Saturday, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.
Ferrero is in London for business purposes as he is looking to strike a deal with interested parties for the transfers of midfielder Pedro Obiang and striker Eder. West Ham have been linked with both players, while Spurs are also keen on the Spanish midfielder.
West Ham had made a bid for Obiang last month, reports suggest, as they look to sing a replacement for on-loan midfielder Alex Song, who has now returned to Barcelona with no permanent deal in place.
Eder has been linked with clubs such as West Ham and Stoke City and is currently contracted until 2017 at Sampdoria. Eder has had a good season for Sampdoria in the Serie A this year managing to score 12 goals and get himself five assists, Eder also managed to get his first senior international cap for Italy. Eder is known for playing on the left wing but has also featured at a centre forward role for Sampdoria.
Eder’s season was cut short after sustaining a serious injury. Eder has reportedly just rejected an offer from fellow London club and Premier League side Crystal Palace. West Ham will be needing to strengthen their attack force after the recent release of long time servant Carlton Cole who was at the Hammers for nine years.
