West Ham look set to miss out on the signing of Guingamp striker Claudio Beauvue, as he nears a move to Marseille.
The 27-year-old has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season for the Ligue 1 side, and has confirmed he will be leaving this summer.
Available for £4m this summer, Beauvue has been lined up by Hull, Everton, West Brom, Tottenham and PSG, but reports claim he will be signing for Marseille.
They’ve offered the striker a wealthy three-year contract, which is yet to be accepted by Beauvue, but it is by far the best offer.
The Hammers are believed to be locked in talks with Guingamp over a fee, which has already been agreed with them and Marseille.
